Nancy Bruns Inventor
After decades of working with rigid tool grips, I developed painful numbness in my fingers and hands, which caused an inability to work. Several months after carpal tunnel surgery, I attempted to perform tasks using tools, sharp pain shot through my palms. I realized immediately the rigid handles of the tools caused my hand injuries. An exhaustive search for a comfortable tool grip proved disappointing.
Employing my sculpting talents, I designed a user-friendly grip, which is applicable to numerous applications. The Grip seats either palm into a stress-free area, and is supported by a resistant-free raised bridge. this provides strategically located depressions for the worker’s tired abused fingers, and thumbs. I envision my invention as an extension or embodiment on many products. The size presented or larger, could be molded in flexible products for comfort.
Quoting responses from professionals who experienced the grip, “This handle is so comfortable, it causes absolutely no resistance to any part of either hand. It could decrease future physical damage to the hand.”
